AMplify Impact Challenge

The AMplify Impact Challenge Grand Finals at MACH 2026 brought together outstanding student teams from across the UK and Ireland, each presenting bold ideas to make Additive Manufacturing more sustainable, circular, and globally responsible. Delivered in partnership with Engineers Without Borders UK, the Challenge showcased the creativity and purpose‑driven thinking of the next generation of engineers.

The AMplify Impact Challenge is a student engineering competition delivered by Engineers Without Borders UK and AMUK, inviting university teams to explore how Additive Manufacturing can become more sustainable, circular, and globally responsible. Students are challenged to rethink materials, processes, and systems across the full lifecycle of AM technologies.

This year’s competition grand finals were held at MACH 2026, where the top teams from across the UK and Ireland presented their ideas to industry leaders, sponsors, and visitors at the NEC Birmingham.
