The AM National Strategy 2018-25 was released in 2017. The documents below outline the process used in writing the strategy as well as the final report that was issued.

AMUK was setup as a response to the AM National Strategy and aims to push forward the development, adoption of and use of AM technology in the UK. As a continuation of the AM National Strategy, AMUK produces an annual strategy document, outlining the current challenges for the technology, as reported by AMUK members, along with the work AMUK is undertaking to address these challenges. Copies of the annual AMUK strategy can be found below.

The AMUK membership has currently identified 3 areas are significant challenges for the Additive community in the UK. These are around the areas of Supply Chain, Standards and Skills. Below is the list of current members who AMUK engages on each of these challenge areas, and who help shape the forward work that AMUK undertakes. If you are an AMUK member and would like to get involved in any of these working groups, then please get in touch directly. If you aren’t a member and want your organisation to participate in the annual AMUK Strategy, then please contact us about becoming a member.
