– HR, HSE, Tax and Legal Support
HR, HSE, Tax and Legal support are provided for our members by Croner – an award-winning HR, employment law and Health and Safety company. Members can take advantage of access to: advice for any HR, employment law or health and safety question; advice on tax and VAT questions; Croner’s webinar programme and their nationwide seminar events programme.
– Training
We have established relationships with several training providers to offer access to high quality general and technical training for our members at discounted rates. To find out more about the training currently accessible through this scheme please get in touch with us.
– Marketing Intelligence
Through our partnership with the MTA, we have a direct link to CECIMO – the European association for Additive Technology. CECIMO run a biannual survey, gathering data on the trends within the Additive market. AMUK members are available to freely access this data as well as have it expertly analysed and presented at our AMUK members forum.
– Research and Development
We have close links with multiple research institutions across the UK and abroad, who work with the latest Additive technology, processes and materials. Our members can access information on these latest development trends via attendance of the biannual AMUK members forum, or though our online membership portal where the information is made available.
– Funding Information
We have established, close links with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) – the non-departmental public body which provides funding. Our members will benefit from learning about the latest funding opportunities within UKRI, through attendance to the biannual AMUK members forum, or through the online membership portal where the information is made available.
– Networking Opportunities
Every 6 months, we will host the AMUK membership forum, where members will have the opportunity to come together and learn about the most up to date information within the Additive technology sector. As part of this forum, members will be given the opportunity to give a 5-minute pitch to other members, which will raise awareness of who they are, what they do, and what they are looking for. We will also look to be hosting other smaller events throughout the year to provide members with an opportunity to network.
– Industry Information
We engage with a number of organisations who are actively participating in a variety of areas which support the Additive Manufacturing valuechain in the UK. These include areas such as standardisation, intellectual property, government engagement and more.’
– AMUK University Challenge
An annual comptetition for university members of AMUK based on real industry challenges.
– Broker Company Tours and Guest Speakers
AMUK will help broker company visits and guest lecturers for school, college and university members of AMUK.
– Travel Grant
AMUK will support with matched funding students from school, college and university members of AMUK to visit the MACH exhibition. Exact details of the grant will be released in the run up to MACH.
– Rapid News Partnership
AMUK has partnered with the Rapid News Groups, owners and organisers of the TCT 3Sixty exhibition (https://tct3sixty.com/) and TCT magazine. AMUK members are able to benefit from a range of offers associated to the TCT brand, including discounts on exhibiting at TCT 3Sixty or advertising within the TCT magazine. – Additive International Partnership
AMUK has partnered with the Additive International Conference (https://www.additiveinternational.com/). AMUK members are able to receive preferential rates on tickets to attend the conference. – Valuechain Partnership
AMUK has partnered with valuechain to allow member to use their online supply chain portal which will enable to reach a large network, start collaborations and win more business.
– Email Marketing and Social Media
ach AMUK member is entitled to send one E-shot annually to the additive contacts on the MACH database. This E-shot can be used to promote an event or announce the release of a new product. Furthermore, AMUK is also very happy to share any company news that you have via our monthly newsletter to members or our social media accounts. There are no restrictions on including content on our social media platform or in our monthly newsletter.
– Online Directory and Forum
Our members can create an online profile on the Valuechain portal. The essentially supports the AMUK network as it provides a space for companies to engage and collaborate others within the network, as well as providing them opportunities to respond to any tenders which go live on the network.
– International Pavilions
AMUK will organise pavilions at international trade shows to aid members in maximising their impact.
– Sector Events & Conferences
We run events looking to promote Additive technology to different sectors within the UK supply chain as well as help those who have adopted a chance to develop and improve their understanding of the technology. AMUK members benefit from being to attend these events at discounted rates, present case studies at these events, and have opportunities to network.
– MTA Members Events – including the MACH & ESC Show
As part of the MTA Group of associations, our members are entitled to member rates at MTA events where you can network with the wider engineering and manufacturing community. At the MACH Show AMUK members are entitled to a 20% discount if they exhibit within the MACH Additive Zone or 15% discount if they exhibit within the Engineering Supply Chain (ESC) Show.
– AMUK Website – News and Case Studies
Any news or case studies which AMUK members want to promote can be included on the AMUK website as part of your membership.
