EMU Euro Tour 2025 – Lasertech

Start

Date: 16 September 2025
Time: 9:00 am

End

Date: 17 September 2025
Time: 12:00 am

SPEE3D’s Expeditionary Manufacturing Unit (EMU) is hitting the road, travelling across several locations in Europe to manufacture metal parts live. During these demonstrations, the XSPEE3D cold spray metal 3D printer will produce critical replacements for land and marine vehicles in aluminium 6061, and these parts will be heat treated, machined, and tested in the adjacent SPEE3Dcell – all on site!

What will a day look like?

When you join us, expect an exclusive, full-day event packed with on-site experiences and industry insights. What’s included:

  • Breakfast & Networking – Kickstart your day with great food and connections.

What is the Expeditionary Manufacturing Unit?

Our Expeditionary Manufacturing Unit (EMU) accelerates equipment repair with a total on-site manufacturing solution. The EMU is comprised of two components: our XSPEE3D printer and our SPEE3DCell post-processing and testing unit. Together, they give you everything you need to print, post-process, and test metal parts in the field or the factory—reducing your reliance on external supply chains:

  • Containerized, ruggedized, and easy to deploy.
  • 20-foot containers with twist locks transportable with NATO in-service vehicles.
  • Rapidly manufacture custom metal parts on-site or in remote, austere environments.
  • Heat treat, machine, and test metal 3D printed parts in the field.
  • Achieve material properties with low porosity and high density superior to their cast counterparts.
  • No extensive training or complex infrastructure required.
  • Enable faster, lower-cost, more scalable production.
